NUCLEAR SYSTEMS LABORATORY (NE 4447)

This laboratory course takes advantage of the unique capabilities available on the Idaho State University campus.  The laboratory course is primarily conducted using the AGN-201 training reactor.  This small low-power reactor provides students with hands-on reactor experiment opportunities.  Experiments conducted in this course include neutron flux measurements, neutron activation analysis, approach to criticality experiments, and reactor kinetics parameter measurement.
