REACTOR PHYSICS (NE 4445 / 5545)

This course focuses on diffusion theory and nuclear reactor kinetics.  The students get to see the theory of how reactors are designed and apply the theory in class. This course is centered on the classic Duderstadt and Hamilton textbook, "Nuclear Reactor Analysis". Numerical solution techniques using MATLAB are an integral part of the course.
