RELIABILITY AND RISK ASSESSMENT (NE 4478 / 5578)

This course teaches the students methods of evaluating process and equipment reliability. Probabilistic methods are applied to analysis and design of reactors and reactor safety. The students will also set probabilistic design objectives and calculate probabilistic performance.
